"We had the best experience getting our pup, Nick, from West Haven! I work with children and adolescents as a trauma-focused therapist and reached out to West Haven looking for a puppy that could be raised and trained as a therapy dog. Mariah took my request very seriously and waited until the right puppy came along in one of their litters—our Nick! Mariah kept me updated on the tests that Nick passed in order to be a therapy dog candidate and sent along lots of photos and videos of him too! Mariah and Leanne take such good care of these puppies. They couldn’t be raised in a more loving home! Upon picking Nick up and taking him home Mariah proved to be so helpful—providing us with so many resources for successfully raising and training our pup! Mariah was quick to answer any and all questions I had, and never made me feel like any question was too small or insignificant. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Mariah would send pictures of our cute puppy and provide updates along the way. They have been so helpful as we've transitioned our puppy home, too! All of the crate training and potty training that Mariah began helped make our puppy’s transition so much smoother.
